Prairie Fire
This race was my own personal Boston experience. Rain drops began to fall with the sound of the starting gun and didn’t stop. We puddle jumped, we laughed, we ran through water knee high, I found a pothole in one, and we kept going. My right knee was pretty angry for 5 miles after finding that hole but we finished strong regardless. This race showed me that working on my #mentaltraining is paying off. I would normally shut down with the rain chances looming but I ignored them and rocked it out! Thank you for another incredible race, @runprairiefire!
