If we haven’t met yet, I’m Becky. I help runners who feel like outliers finally train in a way that matches their physiology, their season of life, and the goals they secretly think might be too big. Spoiler alert: they’re not.
I didn’t grow up an athlete. I didn’t run track, I didn’t play sports, and I certainly didn’t imagine I’d ever coach hundreds of athletes around the world. I started running in my 30s, long after most people think they’ve “missed their window.” Turns out, the window is imaginary and adults make the best athletes anyway.
Like a lot of runners, I coached myself for years. I made progress, hit plateaus, broke through them, then hit a few more. Eventually I wanted more for myself, so I hired a coach. That decision changed everything. It made me hungrier, more curious, and honestly a better student of the sport than I’d ever been.
Around the same time, my body was taking me on a detour I didn’t ask for. I spent years navigating debilitating Endometriosis, three laparoscopic surgeries, chemically-induced menopause, and then a full hysterectomy at 38. I was a young athlete in surgical menopause with zero guidance, zero resources, and zero examples of anyone like me still training, performing, and showing up in their sport.
So I became the person I needed.
Now I’m a running and strength coach, a certified Chi Running and Walking Instructor, a Girls Gone Strong Menopause Strength Coach, and an Indigenous athlete who’s committed to shaking up the narratives that tell people there’s one “right” way to train.
My work centers on Masters and menopausal athletes because I know firsthand how isolating that path can feel. I coach runners of all backgrounds, but my heart belongs to anyone who’s ever been told they’re too old, too hormonal, too busy, too injured, or too late to the game.
You’re not. You’re just getting started.
And if you want support along the way, you’re in the right place.
