About your Coach
Becky Croft
I’m an Indigenous running and strength coach dedicated to helping athletes break past limits physically, mentally, and culturally.
After enduring multiple surgeries, chemically induced menopause, and eventually a full hysterectomy due to Endometriosis, I found myself navigating surgical menopause at a younger age with very few resources for endurance athletes like me. I searched for guidance, representation, and examples of what was possible in a body without its own hormones, and came up empty.
So I built my own path back to faster paces, longer distances, and a deeper understanding of how training needs to adapt across life stages. Running became both my healing practice and the catalyst for my coaching work. It’s also how I became the resource I couldn’t find, for athletes who deserve better support than what the industry has historically offered.
My coaching is rooted in intentionality. Every run, every strength session, and every mindset shift has a purpose. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all training. I believe in coaching that adapts to your needs, honors your lived experience, and supports long-term growth instead of short-term burnout.
Community sits at the center of everything I do. I work intentionally to create space for Indigenous and underrepresented athletes in endurance sports. I previously served on the board of ReNew Earth Running, an Indigenous-led organization focused on land accountability and community building through running. During my time there, I supported athlete development, strategic planning, and inclusive leadership initiatives.
I specialize in coaching Masters + Menopausal athletes, populations that are frequently overlooked or underserved despite making up a significant portion of the endurance community. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and strong through every phase of your training and life.
Resilience, to me, isn’t about pushing harder at all costs. It’s about adapting, learning, and showing up in ways that align with who you are now. I’ve trained through injury, hormonal shifts, grief, and life stress, and I know firsthand that performance isn’t defined solely by numbers. It’s built through consistency, trust, and joy in the process.
Above all, I believe in growth. Whether you’re chasing a PR, rebuilding after a setback, or learning to feel at home in your body again, I’m here to guide you with evidence-informed training, a holistic perspective, and deep respect for your journey. Coaching isn’t just about getting faster. It’s about building capacity and confidence that last.
Let’s build something meaningful together.

Want to hear more of my story? I sat down with Selene Yeager on the Hit Play Not Pause podcast to talk about Endometriosis, surgical menopause at 38, hormones, running mechanics, periodization, strength training, and what athletes truly need in peri/menopause. It’s one of the most important conversations I’ve shared.
