UPDATE: "Prior to working with @coach.croft I used an app to get me through 2 marathons but I wasn't getting the results from the app plus I secretly wanted to get my pre-covid body back. The first year with Coach was hard because I thought I knew more and I didn't put in the work during training. So at the 2021 Route 66 marathon I finished in over 7 hours. It was frustrating and cursed the entire second half. The only reason I have that expression {in the photo posted} is because Coach and {a friend} were waiting for me at the finish line.

In marathon number 5 I felt so much stronger both mentally and physically! (I finished over an hour faster) I know that I can get a new personal best and it's tempting to not start trying immediately. But for now, I'm going to recover and have fun with shorter distances because I have a fun new challenge in the next few months."
